Once, when I was a little girl, I saw an Afghan Hound in a book. I did not know exactly what kind of dog it was or where he came from, but I knew one thing very certain, then as I grew, I have a dog. I was fascinated, gefassineerd, you can say under the spell of this beautiful royal appearance. It let me go. I pictured how it was such a wonderful addition to animal allowed to run.
  In 1977, the big day. Not yet scheduled but fate, or rather, the Fortune smiled on me. Close to one family, who probably had not looked into this very special breed and coat care, we searched for a female dog a new home. I did here a minute to think about it, this was my chance.
Sonja of Klokkenhof (as it was called) came to live with us.

I had a taste and it was not long before my 1st litter bred in 1979 with the royal dogs.

Because we only had 1 puppy from this combination, we tried again in 1986, now with more success. No less than 8 pups were born including Effendi and Elima, we both had themselves arrested. Both females and wished success we booked we Elima a litter.
